We’re excited to share highlights from the recent Basic Training (BT) and Security Awareness and Seafarers with Designated Security Duties (SDSD) course held at Protect Marine Cebu from September 1 to 13, 2025. Cadets from Misamis Institute of Technology successfully completed the training, showing great dedication, teamwork, and a strong commitment to their maritime careers.
At Protect Marine, we focus on providing hands-on, practical training that prepares future seafarers for the real challenges they’ll face at sea. Using modern simulators and guided by experienced instructors, the cadets experienced training that closely simulates actual shipboard operations, helping them build the skills and confidence needed to perform safely and professionally.
