Protect Marine Manila pioneered simulator assessments required by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in 2002 and has since expanded its simulator-based training to include the Management Level Course for Deck and Engine, SSBT, and ERS. Today, Protect Marine Manila is a MARINA-accredited maritime training institution and assessment center. The organization continues to deliver Management Level Courses for Deck and Engine Officers, along with assessment programs for Management, Officer, and Support Levels for the renewal and upgrading of COPs and COCs. Protect Marine Manila is also accredited by the Panama Maritime Authority to process Previous Documentary Evaluation (PDE) applications.
